Some thoughts

Today I did get some art making done.  It was a beautiful day.  Sunny and cooler.  I started as most days writing in my journal and  drinking coffee.  Once I have three pages written - oft interrupted by ideas that I need to check out on the internet.   It is also sometimes slowed down by trying to find just the right color ink to go with the art on each page ( I am coming to that.)  I have a lot of inks and  various fountain and dip pens that I like to use. Once I have gotten the writing done I am rewarded  with  decorating the three pages for tomorrow. It is great fun and I get to play with all my different media for this. Here are today's little art works:

The first is just a bit of masking tape from the painting I did a couple of days ago with a tiny bit of enhancement with some faux gold leaf for fun. The second is a collage of bits and scraps and the third, the mushrooms, was done with brush and inks and a little colored pencil.  

What I want to try to do is share the art I have made or completed today.  I have been somewhat obsessively making knit balls out of leftover handspun yarn.  I work on them while we listen to the tube after dinner.  I finished this one  tonight:

They are fun.  I may sew some beads on them.  

Also today I picked up some frames at Michaels so I can frame a few things I have been working on.

And finally I have a new fractal flame I like.  

I am not sure which way I like it best. 

Anyway Maybe more tomorrow.
